As one of China's nationally strategic foreign-invested initiatives, the project is located in Daya Bay Petrochemical Park, Huizhou. Phase I includes a flexible feed steam cracker with 1.6 million-ton annual ethylene capacity, two LLDPE units (combined 1.2 million tons/year), the world's largest single-train 500,000-ton low-density polyethylene (LDPE) unit, and two differentiated high-performance polypropylene (PP) units (total 950,000 tons/year). The advanced polymer products will address growing demand in packaging, automotive, industrial, consumer goods, hygiene, and personal care sectors.
